... green a car from each lane proceeds. This spaces the cars out. We came across this at the Oakland Bridge several years when visiting SF. After 90 minutes trying to find the on ramp and navigating the traffic we made it home in time for a drink!!!

... sleep. Not having done a food shop we ate some of the fruit we had purchased yesterday for breakfast then hit the road to Santa Barbara only a 45 minute drive away. Pulling into the visitors centre to ask a few questions where they also recommended Sambos diner for an American breakfast. This being the first of the trip I went for the traditional pancakes which were delicious, however I could not get used to that for breakfast everyday. ... 8217; of the car! He then chased us up the hill with a knife AHHHH. We also saw the Jaw bit but it was closed for construction so we just saw a shark in a drained pool which was rather hilarious! We also saw a city wrecked by a plane crash which was from some Tom Cruise movie I found it interesting because they actually bought a proper plane and it was people jobs to wreck it for the film!!

... The term we used in the Army for a situation this fouled up started with "cluster." Our bags didn't appear for well over an hour. In the meantime, fortunately, Celeste was in line first at Lufthansa, and then at British Air, securing our transfer to this flight and a connection to Barcelona. Net result? We'll get in around 4 ½ hours later than we would have via Lufthansa, no further delays permitting.
