found a great little town in Provence.. and as they say "when in Rome (Provence)"... we had a great meal in true french restaurant... happy to be away from tourist food... and had some very nice red wine........ just a stopover but a friendly little place and nice hotel...

I HIGHLY recommend this gorgeous chateau to anyone after a romantic getaway and as far as getting married at the Chateau..WOW.

We got out early this morning ( well relatively early, 8:30) to go to the Vaison marche. Again a very extensive market with a wide variety of fruit and Veg, meat and fish, linen, clothing and pottery. We bought some small pottery trays, tablecloths and material for a table cover as well as provision for the next couple of days. Vaison la Romaine, France gandablog... the trains are full. We ended up paying e99 each a couple of weeks ago and picking up the tickets when we got here. For most other days they are much cheaper but not on long weekends apparently. I got the train trip back to Paris for e22. from Lyon. Vaison la Romaine, France gandablog... Maar we zaten met een klein probleempje! De electriciteit (en het water) waren namelijk in de hele wijk uitgevallen, waardoor we de lift niet konden gebruiken. Tenminste, dat dachten we toch..blijkt dat de lift toch nog werkt als de electriciteit is uitgevallen.
