A Further Observation:
The French don't appear to have discovered, or embraced, the selfie-stick. I think we may have the only one in the country, unless there is a bus load of Japanese tourists about.
We have found a new and novel purpose for our selfie-stick; using the telescopic handle to hook and pull the prickly wild blackberry canes closer so we can pick the unreachable berries.
Found this in the 'International Foods' section at our local Intermarche. It's good to know it is available here but at approx $8, I'm glad we packed a small supply. Just hope we don't t run out.
p.s. Go West Coast on Friday. Will be cheering them on at midday from here.

Once a year La Muse collect their honey from the bees. Luckily for us, today was that day! Davids mum Collette his father Jacque and his brother and little nephew were in the barn twirling this contraption like mad getting the honey from the combs. It was boiling hot in there and very hard work! We tried some of the honey from the combs and it was like chewing gum...cool! Check out the photos and video below which will explain better than us!

Long Day today, we woke up, packed the van with meat and veg and headed up the cevannes mountains towards David's friends farm. Once there we got our sexy whites on and got to work in the massive kitchen! Emma, Romeo and David's friend (Oui Chef) began work cutting thousands of Aubergines, Peppers, Tomatoes and Courgettes.
