... of the beach, i found a stick as we walked over to prod the crabs with. Just as i was trying to get a small jellyfish out of a hole in the rock, Mill asked "why is there so many teenagers on the rocks and why are they all looking at us wierd." I came up with the answer as pulled out the jellyfish which turned out to be a condom!!, we left shaggers rocks watching where we put our feet.

Heute ging's von Codpa nach Iquique.... neben viel fahren haben wir viele Steinmännchen, Geoglyphen und viel Nichts gesehen :-) und wenn ich noch gedacht habe in den USA und Australien viel "Nichts" gesehen zu haben... Chile steigert das Ganze nochmals :-) manchmal hatte es neben der Strasse wirklich nur Steine... nicht mal wirklich Felsen oder so :-) Iquique ist nun wieder ein grösserer Ort ...

Today, I have to tidy up my things and get rid of whatever I can. I’ve already given my jungle drugs to Ruby who is headed into the Amazon for a great trip of a couple of weeks without a shower or a whiskey. After all I don’t think I’ll be subject to much malaria on my way back to California.

Iquique (pronounced E, Key, Kay); What a Nice city! Sandwiched beteen the turquoise of the Pacific and the biggest sand dune you have seen in your life, Iquique was once a very wealthy city in the days of the Nitrate boom.
