Getting to Southern Thailand was always going to blow the minds of two people who have almost exclusively been on walking and camping holidays in the north of the UK and we wasted no time at all in getting to the islands and beaches, taking two overnight trains from Vientiane in Laos to Krabi, in the South West of Thailand.

We relaxed in the room a bit, ate some dinner then dipped ourselves in the hot springs. Came back to our room and spend a little time in our private hot/cold dipping pools, showered up then off to bed.
