      White as snow...

A travel blog entry by christie-lee on Mar 12, 2015

... the people close me were dark shadows so I gave my skis back and sat in the cafe for the day which I have to say was a wise choice!! A few people were injured nothing serious though! Met some cool guys from Brighton, London and one of them injured his arm so I think I made the right choice! Today I am going to look around the city of Innsbruck...its a small city with lots of shops so I don't know if there is much for tourists to do besides ski and snowboard but I'm going to find out for ...

A travel blog entry by nicolapollard on Mar 01, 2015

The next day we enjoyed breakfast and then toured the Neuschwanstein castle. ...

... see the ski jump from the 1964 Olympics. The mountains and even further. It was actually quite scary to be up that high. It was amazing to see it from that angle though. After that we then went for a walk along the river and ended up back in the main square where we were going to try some strudel but our eyes quickly turned to the schnapps distilery. Austria is where schnapps comes from and of course they are very famous for it. The liquor is made 40 km away ...

      THE CASTLE

A travel blog entry by jessielewcock on Jan 25, 2015

... were incredibly lavish and luxurious, with grandeur on a scale I've never seen before. We then properly surveyed the castle from the outside. It had stopped snowing and the sky had turned a blotchy pink/purple/grey colour with patches of blue trying to fight through. The walking trail to the closest lookout had been closed and gated shut due to the heavy snowfall, but we like scores of other tourists skirted the ...
