This morning after fried eggs we wandered the town for a bit waiting for Jess' shoes to dry in the sun at the hostel, and visited the gondola lift we would later use to start our walk. ... Aussie! The one that did speak some German read the back of the grießnockerl packet and explained that it's something you add to soup - like you would with croutons. He suggested I use a Tom Yum soup cube that was with the herbs and spices in the kitchen, and add the grießnockerl to that. ... Once I exited there, I realized my GoPro was dead and I did not want to miss out on the good views today! I had to walk back to the hostel to charge my camera.
