    ... was a gale force rush of air between the outside world and the caverns to come. Once inside, it was eerily calm and quiet. And cold. But not to worry, we wouldn't be cold for long. The tour of the 1km of ice involves climbing 700 steps up into the cave (and then 700 steps down again).     ... time up the top, took in the sights and snapped lots of pictures then made our way back down. Rather then taking photos of the lake into the sun, Pete suggested we drive around the other side of the lake, 10min drive, to take some better pictures.     ... then shuffled us to another. We totally overlooked the fact that entire week surrounded in this spa resort was going to be in German - and we don’t speak German! Judging from the license plates in the parking area, most of the people were from Germany, some from Austria and then a smattering from Switzerland and Netherlands…all of which were fluent in German. Us, not so much!
