A complete unknown ... Lebanon
... up horse riding & ATV-ing with at this resort club. The great couple who picked us up whilst we were hitching a ride to the highway from the castle ended up not only taking us all the way to the coastal town we ultimately wanted to visit, Saida, but taking us on a boat trip round the harbour. This was just an example of the fantastic hospitality we enjoyed throughout the country.
All in all, it was a phenomenal 2 weeks exploring a country we knew virtually nothing ...
3 days in Lebanon
... young lebanese generation. We made friends with one Lebanese guy who was showing off to us and splashing his cash around. He told us how he went to a good school and he knows all the rich clique in Beirut and he could never be with a girl who isn't our his friends will dismiss him. He told us about the clubs here where you have to pay 500 dollars for a table.
It was crazy to see this other world, after getting local buses for less than a euro and seeing the majority of lebanese ...
Back to the Capital...WELCOME....WELCOME
... be nice and insists that you have a free tea…..Shall I go on, I can if you like……….when we were walking down the hill from the snow a man selling fruit on the side of the road shouts welcome to Lebanon and throws us a free apple from about 50 metres away
We'll definitely remember Lebanon as a country full of friendly people and fine food....and we already can't wait to come ...
