He (or the Ghanaian team at least) almost took home all 3 points but a German equaliser meant the game ended 2-2. 11 goals in 2 games was a good return so far. The journey home meant a lot of queuing and pushing to get on a bus - glad to leave behind the drunk Germans and the "too young" girls ...

... A&W, to save typing), leaving me feeling that I'd finally had a breakthrough with the language. But a few times pouca louca has tried speaking to me, and I've never had any clue what she's said to me. The other day it was "Blah blah blah blah blah blah praia!" Excuse me? "Blah blah blah blah blah blah praia!" Say that again? "Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah praia! Blah blah blah blah blah?" Huh??!?!??!?
