We have been having a very nice time in Spain since we have arrived and we've been all over the place! On Saturday we went exploring to Guadalest which was a very nice town up in the hills. The drive went through the mountains which is mostly farmland with lots of orange and lemon tress, and artichoke plants. There was a nice view off into the distance of the mar menor. ... kings on camels and lots of music. We were told by locals that it's a bigger deal than New Year's Eve and everything will be shut down tomorrow. Vivi says she read that kids leave hay outside their doors for the camels and the wisemen leave presents, so she left out water in lieu of hay on the steps of our camper. Santa had 2 Kinder eggs that he forgot to put in their stockings that he's going to pass onto the wisemen! - Mo P.S. Hopefully more pictures when I have a wi-fi ...

We're preparing to return to Sweden...just in time for a little winter weather and of course one of the nicest times of the year, Jul.

It is a busy, bustling, vibrant town, and that is in the Winter, so I expect it is truly buzzing in the summertime. As it was nearly Christmas, there was an unusual, fascinating and huge Nativity type scene set up in the main Church square. There are lots of 'jokes' hidden in the display. e.g. a woman with her skirt lifted warming her bum by a fire. A child falling head over heels down some steps. and many more. ...
