... and olive oil, battered fish for my second course and some rice pudding for dessert. The drinks and food were so good I really didn't want to stop eating, and I got to really connect with my friends at my table which was nice because many of them were from Session A and hadn't spoken to me much. Dinners have been sketchy here, very hit or miss to say the least, but I can honestly say that our coordinators did a good job of making it up to us tonight. Props to them for making it ...
... before. We arrived at the unit at about 8:15 as we always do, and we spent about 45 minutes in the morning meeting where all the doctors gather together to discuss various patients and particularly challenging cases. To be honest, I'm sure what they were saying was very interesting, but I was so tired from waking up so early that I could not understand a single word of what any of those doctors was saying, and I quickly found my head bobbing as I struggled ...

We only have one more weekend here before we all go our separate ways, so I'm really thankful that I got to have a great one with my friends. It's so crazy to think that two weeks from now, I won't even be here anymore! I'm dreading leaving the island, but I also can't wait to see my girlfriend and family again. Here's to an awesome weekend!
