I don't really need to tell you what we did do I? Take one part playground, one part beach, and one part sunset and you have a Kramer day in Biarritz.

           

Judy spent the day with Pierre, a former wrestler and French Olympic wresting coach (he went with the team to Atlanta) who she had met on the train ride a few days ...

We spent the morning touring our recently discovered Bayonne with the kids and Judy continued exploring during the afternoon ...

Another lovely beach day was followed by an evening tour by Tom and Sue of nearby Bayonne, the financial center of Bayonne/Anglet/Biarritz. What a cute town!! It has a beautiful 14th century ...

Farmor took an 11am train back to Paris and we were down to just one Grandma! The weather continued to be ideal and we enjoyed another great beach day and a wonderful sunset meal on our patio. Yeah Biarritz!!

... room from us was a classically loud/drunk pair of American surfers. They needed our help explaining that they wanted their Margaritas "on the rocks" so they stumbled over to our table to ask if we "spoke American." I said, I spoke a little. Hilarious. The meal was very good and highly memorable.

                         

... to get ready for my first surf in the Atlantic Ocean. I opened my board bag only to find that KLM Airlines had creased my nose and put a big hole in the bottom of my board. Well done KLM, you tools!!! Unfortunately we still have to fly with them to Mexico. Great. So the morning was spent finding a ding repairer to fix the damage. My brother Mick and his mate OJ were due to arrive later in the day, but Mick would have to surf alone, because my board wasn't going to ...

... in the area, and its's $8 per hour. Right now we are in Hossegor, north of Bayonne. We found a nice campground, with unisex bathrooms..horrible...but the campground is nice and close to the ocean. The waves are small, but have gotten better today. I'm making Ian go out since he did bring his board all the way through mainland Europe for this!!:o) I'll write mroe later!!! We're on our way to Bordoux soon...and hopefully some good wines! Aur voua..or something like that!!! hehe
