After a delightful breakfast we saddled up on what was to be our most arduous and challenging hike on the Haute Route. Soaked up the mild conditions and great view for a while before I headed off for a shower while Mitch cooked up our much anticipated spaetzle dinner - It was a gastronomique masterpiece! For dessert – two more wonderful creations from the local patisserie (me – Le Savoyard, a raspberry, cake, cream combination; Mitch had Fleur de bois, a berry mousse creation). Heaven
