Snake which had just shed its skin.

The interesting part of the descent is that although it is
extremely steep and rocky, there are tracks that indicate that some maniacs
actually ride mountain bikes down these paths.

... snack, to have with drinks on our balcony. Lovely! Soaked up the mild conditions and great view for a while before I headed off for a shower while Mitch cooked up our much anticipated spaetzle dinner - It was a gastronomique masterpiece! For dessert – two more wonderful creations from the local patisserie (me – Le Savoyard, a raspberry, cake, cream combination; Mitch had Fleur de bois, a berry mousse creation). Heaven
