During the flight we got another view of Kilimanjaro - it was a whole lot more impressive! It was pretty much the same height as the plane was flying. Got to Nairobi airport where we had about a six hour wait for our flight to Bangkok. So we had some food, went to buy some souvenirs but they were too expensive, and sat reading or books waiting for the flight which was at ...

... for lunch (camping food is delicious but it gets a bit samey so it’s nice to have something a bit different when we get the opportunity). The pizzeria described itself as "a little slice of Italy in Zanzibar", but when Jay tried to order a beer in the 30 degree heat, it turned out they didn’t serve any alcohol – he was devastated!!
