... The unpacked tent, still wet from last time, got at least a chance to dry now, as there was a strong cold wind blowing. The camp side was behind a deserted bus stop, lots of rubbish around, as the bins were more then full, but anyway, you can't have things always perfect.
Once set up, having eaten my emergency food, I made myself comfortable, thanks to the warm sleeping bag. I realised on the a pad, that I already crossed another timezone, ...

I was in Krasnoyarsk to do some hiking in the Stolby Nature Reserve and had just about 24 hours before the next train booking, so reorganised my bags and stuffed everything I wouldn't need into a locker and headed off to catch a couple of buses to the south side of town to the national park.

It was lovely geting back into nature after so may cities in Russia and once I got to the park and had set up my tent for the night, the scenery became really beautiful. Perfect ...

... up in some gold foil...raised eyebrows all round but its too late to complain and wait another 30 minutes for attention so we all head back to our kupe. Having only had one drink we might as well be plastered as the train now chugging at some speed along a wobbly section of track throws us all over the place!

... But she's now asleep and there's only so far a conversation between her Russian and my smiles could go anyway. I have been lazy about learning, just after China's single syllable language and lack of conjugations the complexity of Russian hurts my brain a little :P I understand maybe half of their 33 letter cyrillic alphabet, can do greetings, tell people that I don't understand Russian, and ask if they understand English :D oh and I can ask for still water - ...

... rolls of dog food sausage. That is very big, very thick devon. Two small pieces of bread, each with a thick slice of this "sausage" on it, and a cup of filter coffee. Nourishing if nothing else.
