Do not get a room that looks out onto the front of the hotel.. There is a lot of traffic all hours of the day and night. Also, the bed linens were scratchy. Not my favorite hotel.

... from Bolzano and sort of just led me in circles a the edge of the city when I tried following the vehicle signs for Trento. Being in a valley I knew I couldn't go in the wrong direction unless I either turned around or was riding up the side of a mountain so I figured if I followed a quieter road I’d eventually be able to find the cycling path. This eventually led me into a small little town with no signs of a path. I saw a guy changing the advertisement at a ...

... sweet tooth, of course we all kept him company. On our return to Oberstaufen we detoured to the Wieskirche (white church) which is a UNESCO world heritage site. It was built in 1730 ten years after a farmer witnessed a statue oh Christ weeping. Millions of people each year make a pilgrimage to this beautiful and highly decorated Catholic Church. The dome ceiling is painted in pastel tones with murals of Christ's resurrection, the walls are white but with plenty of gilded ...
