Do not get a room that looks out onto the front of the hotel.. There is a lot of traffic all hours of the day and night. Also, the bed linens were scratchy. Not my favorite hotel.

From Vaduz, we caught an uneventful ride to Feldkirch, a quaint medieval town on the western side of Austria. Once we dealt with logistics of money, snacks, and bathrooms, we didn't have any time to explore but Dave did get some quick shots of the Peter and Paul Church. I put my foot on the pedal and in no time we are at Rovereto, where we join the A22 motorway. Immediately after we collect ...

... Catholic. It houses the largest copper mine in the world. There is enough salt in the mountains surrounding Innsbruck to last 200 years but is too expensive to do so. Enough said & onto our morning tour. On arrival to the winter ski run we were taken up a funicular cable car & then a lift up to the highest point for a demanding view of the city. And the sun decided to make an appearance which stayed ...

... say it was fantastic. We had time to visit another magnificent church.
We passed the house Mozart was born in And many of the traditional dress still sold in the shops.
It was time to return to the coach for a drive over the German border through more beautiful country with snow capped mountains to the mountain summer playground for top Nazi brass and Hitlers Eagles Nest. ...

... at the Europcar office, before realising that with my Priviledge Card I could go straight to the special counter for immediate service.... Doh!
So, I passed over the card, and after saying I was here to collect my car, waited with baited breath for her to say "Sorry sir, we don't have a reservation in that name....", but Nup.... No problems....here are the keys etc etc....
Phew! I probably don't need to go into details of why that was a relief......
    Anyway, we blasted ...
