... has the biggest pool in Thailand. Doesn't it ever? It's MASSIVE. After unpacking, it was straight into a bikini, a layer of sunscreen and down to the pool. It's humid, and really hot here. A glass of wine here, is like $20. But a cocktail is about $7. So I started on the cocktails. I love Thai food, so im pretty much just on task trying to find all my favourites here, and eat them. (basically to see how bad Australia's thai food is, in comparison). So far ...

... cool guy, who sure loved his reggae and I think certain other substances as well, and he had a cat called tiger who had an uncanny resemblance to hoobie and spent the afternoon chasing crabs on the beach or sleeping on the bar. The coconut 'piņa coradas' were to die for though. And Bungs dancing was pretty entertaining too!

Tomorrow morning we sail on to Phuket, and in the afternoon I will fly to Bangkok which will mark the start of my inland northern thailand exploration

... in the middle of the ocean and after only a few minutes the ferry appeared on the horizon. It was a smaller ferry and within a short time we were on board sat on the deck dangling our feet over the side and being sprayed by the surf as the boat headed for Krabi. There were locals on board already selling mini van transfers so we bagged a 400 baht (£8) transfer direct to our hotel, the Maleedee. We were off the ferry, onto the Mini van and at the hotel in no time and ...
