The actual rodeo commenced at 6.45pm and we got to the stadium a little early to take in the scene. The stadium seats 80,000 people and despite the fact that we were about two thirds of the way back from the actual arena, we had a clear view.
The night began with prayer by one of the competing cowboys, followed by a rendition of The Star Spangled Banner, by someone notable, concluding with fireworks to make it even more spectacular. ...
