    ... so we turned around and rode in civilisation! I got caught up on my travel blog...Fred read and rested....and at 3pm Susan and Barry will come over to socialise...mom will join us after bridge...and then dinner together!...great marinaded steaks, salad, my potatoes... ...

    ... house even had a tree house right beside it.. which also had noisy wind chimes.

    Since it was getting later in the day.. we did not get a chance to stay long in Portage-du-Fort. We needed to get home to get supper ready for the kids. We would therefore love to return to this area later in the future.

    ... and relaxing that I almost fell asleep. We headed to an area out the back which was another hot spa with warm waterfalls flowing into them, which was followed by another quick cold treatment and then into an aromatherapy room, scented lavender, and a cup of tea. There was a number of steam and dry saunas that we made use of before we found out that there was an infinity pool that overlooked the city of Ottawa, but it was a little cold.

    Well we got into Montreal about 3pm but it took an hour in customs line and an hour getting a rental car so did not leave airport till 5pm....we drove to Maddison's where Linda and Kortney were waiting for us to dine....had a beautiful ribs meal...meat just fell off bone....was lovely to see them.....then off ...
