Reunited at last!

A travel blog entry by davidw_emmak

Bangkok, Thailand's buzzing metropolis; a chaotic city with much diversity, from the ultra modern shopping malls, five star hotels and sky scrappers to the slums and homeless street kids. There are stunning temples, a variety of cuisine on offer and the infamous Khoasan Road, where one can eat scorpions, buy buckets of vodka on the streets or be …

No fuss in Bangkok

A travel blog entry by shiftinggears

Bangkok is not nearly as mad as the warnings we had read and heard before arriving. The traffic is busy but polite; we are having no troubles crossing even the busiest of intersections. The touts are mellow and polite; very easy to refuse compared to other places we've been. We read up on the scams ahead of time, so have been able to cut them off …

Ten hours, four cab rides, three massive modern malls, two bikes shops, and even Bangkok's very own version of Home Hardware. This was all accomplished thanks to our trusty iPhone. We are converts now and can't imagine how we ever …

The most central khao san location features nice stylish small rooms, that are of course noisy. Reasonable value for money, but being charged for wifi was too big minus for my liking.
