... a sulfur area (from the volcanoes) and a rocky looking beach. We swam a bit at each stop, and the crew made us a great dinner. We then sailed and got to have the incredible experience of watching the beautiful sunset over the water. It's been a magical, relaxing time in Oia. We are off tomorrow, but this was definitely one of the best places I have ever been ...

And no relation to Hercule) bearing an envelope, a regretful mien, and the news that due to a mix-up by Qantas (???) we are now staying at Hotel Volcano View. At least that sorted the parking problem! From the cliche department - no, seriously, Santorini is too beautiful to describe, and the hotel is lovely. A few photos might go a little way... Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Caldera. Thursday 11 ...

... over the rocky headland but around the corner lay a small beach with a huge red wall of sand/rock behind it with the sand and pebbles leading down the beach and into the clear blue water. There were quite afew people here already but we stayed for a sunbake and a short swim before heading back to our 'big girl aka bÍtise aka donkey aka the ATV’. From here we had a short 15min drive to ...
