We left Nice at about 7.30pm last night and arrived at Palma Mallorca at about 2pm this afternoon. First impressions? Dump No 3. Not quite so many high rises, but still pretty dumpy. Lots of boats and ships, so it's obvously popular with some people. We're here until tomorrow afternoon and it's steaming hot so hopefully the ship will be empty with most of the passengers "getting on down" and "getting funky with it" in town. ... and meet the boys with their caps on backwards!

We are looking forward to sailing to Minorca and on to Corsica and Sardinia but for now we are enjoying the sun and the sea and oh, a glass or two of red. Nothing changes!

PS...in Duncan's absence we tried fishing off the stern. Duncan's luck held and we arrived back in port with zero fish....tomorrow we will use Carol's technique and enjoy a fishy supper!

... several restaurants that overlooked the valley below. We continued around the wall And came across a yard that had chairs in a row like a snake. The chairs were painted or decorated differently . ... with her dog come up the escalator. The escalators were great they have them going up one side of the garden/ park and down the other. As I walked I realised just how close we were to things. On all the bus rides and coach trips we had done we had seemed to go round and round places but in the end we were very close to the Mira museum as well as Olympic stadium.
