... had to stop to earn some money. His father died last year (52 years old) of a heart attack and now he has to help support his large family. I forget how many siblings he has. Probably in double figures. He's hoping to work for a couple of years then go back and complete his degree. The rest of the staff are young too, mostly girls from nearby islands working as waitresses. It's not late but I'm tired, I say goodnight to John and the others and go to bed. The next morning ...

... nag hapunan. At nakakita kami ng Lechon! kaso hindi ko alam kung iyon nga ang Lechon na specialty ng Cebu. Anyway, masarap parin naman!



Matapos kumain, ready to fly na ulit ang mga bata! So we got into the plane, at dahil isang oras lang ang byahe, hindi rin kami nakatulog ng husto.

... Buddha sitting peacefully in the forest. It’s really quite something to see! We had a quick walk round the village and headed for Buddha. Tian Tan Buddha (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tian_Tan_ Buddha) sits at the top of a mountain with about 250 stairs in front of him. Since Rowan was sleeping I ran up first. ... gave my testimony it was interpreted. After a week with them I realized the thing kids do was hit each other with there sandal. Ha there is no rhyme or reason for it, but if you are walking by someone and they aren't looking you are getting a sandal upside the head. I learned to keep my head on a swivel during worship for flying flip flops to the face.
