October 9, 2013

Up early, packed breakfasted and on the road by 8am. We were still in the Kangra Valley which is lush and thickly wooded. Nothing like the forests of Oregon, but green with lots of camphor trees, some pine and less habitation. Still, there is garbage everywhere.....

We stayed 2 weeks here, staying in a tibetan house and teaching english with 3 ...

The two-hour teaching was just as inspiring, from what I could understand from the poor translation. He spoke of unhappiness and suffering ...
