JetSet is in the Wailoaloa Beach area but not on the beach. It has a pool and a supermarket next door. My room was spacious and clean; they offered complimentary breakfast & free wi-fi in the sitting room area outside my room door. Their free transport was only from the the airport. The reception staff (all young men) had an off-hand approach to hotel guests - not the very gushy attentiveness of some of the other Fiji hotels but I began to appreciate their understated good-will and helpfulness by the time I left on my second overnight stay. JetSet provided a suitable transit stay within walking distance of beach - could have been closer to airport for convenience though.

Yikes - another crisis averted. I don' know about this place. You think you have it all figured out and then something happens that makes you re-evaluate. I woke up about 7 am and it looked inviting on the balcony...I have a little table and two chairs and look out toward the swimming pool area and a parking lot and the bay is in the distance …
This morning I woke up and went into Nadi for breakfast. I went to Bulaccino Cafe and the food was amazing, I had a toasted sandwich and a milkshake! Once I had finished breakfast I headed back to the hotel where I caught a taxi down the Denarau Resort Beach where Adrenalin Fiji picked me up. Depending on what hotel you stay at will depend if you can get a transfer. There are multiple snorkelling trips you ...
... hopped on a bus into the town, Nadi. The bus was very old and cranky, like something from 50 years ago! Had a walk around the town for an hour, not much there to be honest, a main couple of streets with shops which was quite a busy area but that's about it. In the afternoon we bowled a few more coconuts and played volleyball! Extremely active day to say the least. Just relaxed in the evening, didn't do a lot! The final day in Fiji consisted ...
... take 'villa' with a pinch of salt way over your RDA, but it turns out we'd hit the jackpot. Complete with sofa, kitchenette, TV and outdoor 'rainforest' shower we were a far cry from our Death Goblin's foam mattress! Unfortunately we were only staying the night but it was a good place to ease us into paradise. The next morning we were picked up for our 'Jewel of Fiji' tour. This all day trip had us hitting some of the highlights of the 'real' Fiji that many manage to ...

Bus trip was great all excited, lots of chatting, singing & laughing.
Checked into the airport no worries by 4.40 am & all did the paperwork for customs etc & Brooke had to go through the scanner & Dane has his bag swabbed - LOL
Then heartbreak was only Maccas open for breakfast :( & all shops for duty free were shut only small ...
