... to catch the 40 minute bus ride into Florence. Backpack in tow, I was determined to walk around the city with ease. This was until we decided to climb the bell tower next to the Duomo. It was 414 stairs both ways and my backpack weighed about 15 pounds. It was definitely worth the struggle and the views were amazing. ... we've eaten and Bradden and I sit in the common room to download a movie and so I can load photos. We all meet in the common room at 7.30pm and get a train until the city at 8pm so we can go on a ride on the gondola. When we arrive, we notice that the water looks quiet and dark.
