      How fantastic it has been starting our day out for the last few days on the water! This morning, during breakfast, and decided to scoop some Nutella into her hot chocolate ( because it's not chocolates enough already!) and after storing it she then hopped up to grab a croissant. I looked in her cup and saw J C floating - see the pic. I said to Antonio ( haha, she was down on her knees in the boat "praying" yesterday and today Jesus Christ has appeared in her hot chocolate! ...

      ... be an option in this country, nor is beer available in a fancy ristorante. The food was fantastic and Mel’s soup was quite a large portion. Mel is a big fan of Tiramisu and after the people eating beside us “oohed” and “awed” over theirs, we had to share a dish. Instead of mints, our bill came with a small serving of chocolate covered Ice cream, like a revel, wrapped in foil paper. This tasted pretty good considering I missed my gelato ...

      ... and polite. There were two breakfast rooms, however at times they were a bit packed, so a bigger room would have been good, but we went in November, so we always managed to get a table.

      The reception staff were also very helpful and spoke very good English. I asked them directions to a few different places, and they gave us a map of exactly where to go and information about the vaporetto times etc. The only disappointment is that I had read that there were ...

      ... local "gondola shop" where gondole are brought to be repaired. I could have watched that all day. But, we had a train to catch so on we went.
