Summary of Venice
So I'm back. Today we did St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's palace. They were both magnificent places with beautiful artwork. We started at the basilica which was so beautiful. We did a short walkthrough of the actual church before heading up to the museum. At one point Dad thought the 15 statues in the front were Christ and his 14 apostles (notice the 14 part). 6 Days on the Road
Richelle flew over for six days so we had to make the best of it. Dave and I picked her up in Frankfurt in the morning, and on the way home, stopped in the picturesque town of Cochem, Germany. Having not slept for many hours, she needed sleep so after an early night at home here, we left for a day in Belgium.
