... but thought it might be too big for our little cooking pot.
Instead we bought some Christmas cheer in the form of some lovely Spanish brandy and some good Rioja.
Kay had her photo taken with Father Christmas but refused to sit on his knee.
The stalls were mostly leather goods and jewelery and some Christmas decorations.
We had a lovely lunch in a bodega bistro where we sampled the local rioja..lovely.

What an interesting and surprising little place this is!.
We really had only thought of this place as a stop-over rest and recouperation before our main stop but are now finding daily what a lovely little place and community this is.
Everyone is so friendly with a mixture of nationalities. Some are here for the whole winter and we are beginning to wonder why anyone needs to travel further if the sun is here then stay and enjoy ...
