... that would make the commute comfortable. But of course I wanted to do it the local way (and also the cheapest) so we hopped on a public bus that cost us $3.50 for the entire one-way. What a deal! Let me back track and mention our first Couch Surfing experience last night! CSing has an obvious benefit of having a free accommodation. But for ME, the better benefit is meeting and connecting with people from other parts of the world. I wanted to CS in the Philippines at least once ...

... saw Fort San Pedro, the Heritage of Cebu monument/museum along with Magellan's Cross. It was interesting to follow the history. I went to Dominican Republic in May of this year. Columbus invaded that place and I got to see the history there, but Magellan who was from Spain just like Columbus came to Philippines just 20 years after Columbus discovered America. It was quite interesting to I guess to learn more about the Spanish history.

... him chips because he picked a right number for me. I'm out of my tits, we have had about 8 beers. Charlotte is pretending to pray and crouching on the ground so that I win, she has just got a chorus of umm bop by Hanson going in the restaurant she claims. She is also eating any food she finds.
I leave the table after a bad run but still up 3500php. The weird guy wants to be friends, he literally says "we are friends now" and starts babbling ...

I woke up after sleeping for 12 hours straight. The curtains wide open to wake up to the beautiful golden sunshine on the palm trees outside of my window. I had turned my air conditioning off before I went to sleep. My room was radiating with heat and the sticky smell of tropical warmth had invaded again. It felt good to be so warm after being discontent with the temperature in the UK. I love the heat.

... scene, there certainly was a lot of people viewing the scene. The Fire fighting personnel were going in and out wearing breathing apparatus, and water was being pumped in, there was a lot of grey smoke rising from the building, but no flames. I chatted with some Filipinos, who was that there were some people trapped in the elevator and in the basement.
