... work including For Whom the Bell Tolls. A very interesting house made so by a very good guide. Hemingway certainly led shall we say, a full life!

We then moved on to the Southernmost Point in the USA which has a famous monument - picture attached. We are closer here to Cuba than we are to Miami. Stopped for a spot of lunch overlooking the sea and the two cruise ships that were docked for the day.

After passing out, we met Emma for dinner at the buffet and then went to see the Psyclones do their 80s set. This proved a very popular night and there were a lot of people dancing, especially in the first hour. Between the first and second set, we spent an hour or so in the crew bar. ... and tired of walking at that point, so we just photobombed some other people and took a picture from the curb. At least we can say we have been the closest we are allowed to Cuba, 90 miles away.

I have to admit that Key West was my least favorite part of our trip. Key West itself is pretty great and very interesting. I was fascinated by the stories we heard as we toured the home of Ernest Hemingway. We were all especially interested in Hemingway's cats! I think most of us took more pictures of the cats that were everywhere than we did of any part of the house!
