... throughout the night they change to colours! Mickey Mouse paid a visit to dinner in his wizard costume. It was the last night of the cruise before we would arrive back in Miami tomorrow at 6am. after dinner we played bingo and I went to watch a musical called Disney Dreams: An Enchanted Classic. We had photos with some of the Disney Characters for the final goodbye. I hope to go in another cruise ...

... more galleries and made our way to "Sunset Pier". We enjoyed a drink and some shrimp while we watched the sun go down. We shared the table with some nice people. They mentioned a lovely restaurant on Sunset Key - a private island (which you can take a ferry to and go to the restaurant. (That's for another visit). Then we did some more exploring through shops and listening to music at different bars. DAY 5: We left today around 10:00. We stopped in Islamaranda to look at shells ...

... it's tucked away from the road so it is quiet, but one could walk to the grocery store, loved the location, loved the campground. it felt out of the way, yet we could walk to a shopping center that had a large grocery and a kmart. while here, we kayaked off the florida bay looking for manatees, which we didn't find this time, went to john pennycamp state park and kayaked there.

... and the southernmost point in the U.S. Walked around awhile, watched the sunset over the water (with a million other people in the square), stopped at Hogsbreath Saloon for a beer (had to do that!), and the Key Lime Pie Factory for a piece of pie and one to go (yum), watched a pretty good street performer, then started making our way back to the truck for the loooonnng... drive back (100 miles again....). The drive's not nearly as pretty in the dark - made it in a little over 2 hours. ...

... it was good and we reached our destination once again.
Key West is really a touristy place. Much more so that we thought. We showered and dressed and went walking last nite. it seems that the place we chose to stay is right in the middle of everything. I guess sometimes you get lucky. We ate at Alonzo's Oyster Bar and Grill. Ralphie had his usual 'fried' seafood platter and I had red snapper...............really good.
