... of boats floated around the pier waiting for the band to begin. After we realized we were incredible early, we walked back to Krawl Off Duval, another craft beer bar we'd read about. Our bartender, John, was an incredibly cool guy with lots of advice on things to do and see as we traveled the country. He'd recently moved to Key West and was in love with it. ... have really unusual sayings on them, including "I told you I was sick" and "At least I know where he's sleeping tonight." With 75,000 graves, we didn't see those two, but there are some old graves there. Also, the Remember the Maine memorial is very nice.

We arrived in Key West on Friday December 14th. We left Patrick AFB on Thursday drove to the town of Homestead and stayed the night at the Miccosukee Indian Casino. We parked the the trailer in their parking lot and had a nice evening at the casino. Jerry and I even won a little money....well we actually broke even and had fun gambling. We stopped in Islamorada at The Artisan Village which was very cool. If there would have been music playing I think that would have made us stay and shop longer. We also stopped at Lora Leis for a quick beer before heading to Key Colony for the night. We pulled into beautiful Key Colony looking forward to relaxing on the beach at the Key Colony Beach Club to find it demolished. ...
