... lamb! Then the best part of the evening was the Star talk. An expert explained star constellations to us and pointed out the southern cross and even Jupiter! When they turned all the generator lights off it was unbelievable how many stars there were to see. The evening ended with desert, port and a comfy bus ride back to our campsite! We had seen the sunset so we couldn't leave without observing this incredible rock at sunrise too. Our 4.30am alarm allowed us to get out to the ...

It was so cool because they were surfing on the dolphins and the dolphins were doing flips. The first ride I went on was a jet rescue. On the jet rescue you have to save ...

Before long we saw the signs for The Gold Coast and The Pacific Motorway and within an hour had arrived at The Meriton Apartments in Broadbeach. The manager of the Brisbane Meriton certainly had kept his promise as on checking in we were met by Manageress Amanda who presented us with the key for a 2 bedroomed/bathroom ocean view apartment on the top (27th) floor. Wow, what a view but at first I felt ...

... big as our heads we had to walk back to the boat. Unfortuantly the boat moored a few km away from the Island's recreation, wasn't too bad on the arrival but limping back was painful.
On the cruise back a pod of dolphins followed out back making it a pretty memorable sunset cruise home.

After only 48hours we were back on a flight home, with the motto anything can happen in 48hours!

No sand boarding but still on our list to do!
