There is an hour time difference between the states at the moment due to daylight savings, and apparently the shops shut an hour earlier in one half of the town than the other!     Lots of wonderful beaches today. We explored the beach in Currumbin, Rainbow Bay, and Point Danger. It was somewhat windy, so there were some big, rough looking waves, and lots of surfers.

    ... to stay complete in the rain and winds that have battered the coast! Today we have had the most relaxing day and finally the sun has come out! What a glorious day! We wandered down to the beach (still closed because of the winds, and dangerous surf) and enjoyed a coffee while looking out at the surf. I really adore the laid back that this country emanates.
