Blue Lagoon

Pagudpud is on the very northern coast of Luzon. Not much to report as it was beach life, so life was nice and slow with lots of R&R. I woke up with a cockroach in my bed and after flicking it onto the floor an invasion of ants decided to devour it during the ...

Onneksi Filippiinot tykkaavat hengailla isoissa ryhmissa joka tarkoittaa sita etta kaikki olivat suunnilleen samassa resortissa ja samassa kohdassa rantaa. Ja tama ranta on piiitka joten jokailtaista videoke metelia on helppo paasta karkuun kun valitsee resorttinsa hieman kauempaa. Ilocos fun time

A year of internship gets you all too tired, but hey, there's this anticipated reward at the end of the year. Aside from the fact that we were all excited about our graduation, we were likewise very much excited about our much awaited Ilocos tour. My blockmates and I went around Ilocos for four days, hopping from one beach to another and of course visiting the old churches and houses around the area. Pagudpod is best ...

... older member of the family you say Tita (for aunt) or Tito (for uncle) and Auty for an older female cousin and Kuya for an older male cousin. Also when meeting an elder you always place their hand on your forhead out of respect, and one can always give a kiss on the cheek. I really appreciate the respect and care they demonstrate to one another. Even the store merchants refer to you as Ma'am and Sir. For the longest tiime i thought they were calling me Mom ...

Laoag the City of Light

12 Jan. 2008, 2:30pm. Together with my travel companion (Mai & Luz), we arrived in Laoag International Airport on board Cebu Pacific on a sunny afternoon. Antonio, online friend, was already waiting for us in his Tucson. He was kind enough to take us for a quick ride around the city before taking us to our hotel. We checked in at La Elliana Hotel along J.P. Rizal St., a five-storey orange building. The rate is ...
