After visiting many of our favourite places, and going back to Levkas for someone to view Kerenne we have arrived in Kastos. With a Force 5 blowing from the west there is some doubt about whether the anchor is holding but after taking it in a little all seems OK, fingers crossed.

At our side of the harbour there is a very popular Taverna, in the evening there are a lot if cars and motorbikes parked outside, there must be a party taking place, they seem to have forgotten to invite ...

The road is covered in grit and pebbles probably from the recent storms, there are some very nice looking houses along here, we passed a lady who chatted to us in Greek, we didn't understand and she didn't speak any English. By the time we returned it was getting dark, we had tea and researched different ferry options, but didn't make a decision about which port to sail ...
We played draughts and Connect 4 and Ludo, simple but fun. We could hear music and people singing and then we saw a rowing boat which was slowly making its way along the shoreline by the restaurants, there were Greek men shanty Singers on board. It was lovely to listen - they slowly drifted along, becoming more faint as they disappeared further along the seafront, we could hardly see these singers, as it was dark.
