Nice hotel with beautiful spatious rooms on the first floor. Lot of dark wood. Restaurant on ground floor offers good food and drinks. Close to the Mekong River and some touristic infrastructure around (rent bikes, massage,...). Recommend staying there.

Very sophisticated looking hotel. Reached there late. Hard to locate the hotel late at night (as their signboard werent lighted. Other shops around there were the same too). The hotel staffs were great. Informed them will be arriving late and to my relief, they did inform their security guard to wait for our arrival :-)

The opening to this cave was huge, with a small stream running through. We had heard you
could swim in the stream but it didn't look that appealing at the time we were there as it was well into dry season. Perhaps just after the wet season it is better suited for a dip.

It is a 27km ride backtracking to the main highway and with four of us now on the adventure we concluded there must be a ...

It took us about another 90 minutes to do the 60km to Konglor, via winding roads, police checkpoints with blocks of wood and nails as spikes, ...

You might think it was some bigger feast, but mind you, it was a village of maybe 80-100 people with wooden houses, dogs, pigs, hens and cocks running freely. In one of the houses there was this typical, small platform, balcony type of thing which miraculously fitted lots of people! Huge speaker were rumbling loud Lao ...
