... we had for lunch one day, although I would describe it more as a greasy doughnut style bread, rather than our understanding of crispy or flakey pastry. Absolutely delicious!! There's been a lot of slabs of meat, with some potatoes or buckwheat, but my intake of fruit and vegetables has not been substantial.

Hmm. Wet and tired I arrive here at midnight and try find the hostel. There's no hostel and nobody understands anything I say. I ride around for a bit and ask at the corner shop. It's possible to hitchhike 5200 kilometers from Siberia to the Black Sea in January. Elina is not a "durachka" (idiot). I agreed to drink with her because I'm weak.
