    ... much so that Miriam was intent on finding out what it would take to milk a cow. Which was all well and good until we discovered they were milked at 6am in the morning.     ... they round up the deer from the field and get them to the shed to be sorted. It is interesting to watch as the puppy's sometimes don't listen and so the deer run away again and we have to start from the beginning. Since there has been little rain on the hills meaning not very yummy grass we have been feeding the deer with maize to keep them going.     ... one.! Russell hit it off with the owner and operator of Salvare Wines. We had a unique experience of tastings out in the vineyard itself , under the shade of an umbrella. I enjoyed the following olive oil tastings along with various herbs and breads. Olive trees are also grown in this area and so this oil was made right here in Napier.
