... new trails. Instead we were on a lovely road through wooded areas, nice hills and stunning scenery. Suddenly, a road closed sign appeared in our path. In the past we have just gone around the signs unless there happened to be a police officer yelling at us to turn around. It always worked in the past. This time, however, there were concrete blockades and we were about to head into a tunnel. The rational side of the brain kicked in and we opted to find a detour. The detour took us ...

... talk a minute more about the buses first. It is so great to not only experience the crazy mountain roads that are barely wide enough for one car and maybe a Vespa but then throw into the mix two buses coming at each other from both directions! Now, that is living on the edge! Today, one of the buses went so close to the other bus I swear there couldn't have been more than an inch of clearance. I love how the buses talk to each other ...
