... taking pictures and then got to have another awesome ride back down. This was one of my favorite activities of abroad because it was nice to be alone and take it all in for 15 minutes with no worries (besides that I may fall to my death). We did a little more shopping back in Anacapri but then needed to find a way back down to catch the ferry back to Sorrento. We could take the public bus or for 1 euro more we could take a convertible limo taxi. We were ...

A warm shower at hotel was very welcome. I started writing this 2 days ago and we are now in Rome as I finish it, it was good to catch up with Bron and we had good night on the Champs Élysées to see the end of tour, good day sight seeing in Paris yesterday and flew to Rome this ...

This morning I woke up and decided that I really should go for a run so I ran up and up and up to one of the vantage points we had been at yesterday without the view due to the clouds. It was amazing as the day was clear and I could see Capri, Sorrento and nearly to Naples. It was so amazing and no one to share it with. It was just under 4km up but straight up which made a nice run home. (I also thought I could afford to run as yesterday's walk had been ...

... visit. Here is an excerpt from Rick Steves. " err on the side of caution. Assume able, bodied beggars are thieves. Stick to busy streets and beware of gangs of hoodlums. Past local governments have set an example the mafia would be proud of. Any jostle or commotion is probably a thief team smoke screen. Thieves on scooters have been known to snatch bags as they swoop by. If you are changing trains, you'll be stepping into a crowded Naples subway filled with thieves hunting ...
