There were lots of ferries leaving regularly, back to Amalfi, Naples and other destinations but no signs showing where each ferry went. Instead, there were men walking up and down directing people to the right place. Thankfully we found the right area but when our ferry arrived, it came in at a different place and everyone rushed on there instead! So, all luck of the draw, really and ...

... talk a minute more about the buses first. It is so great to not only experience the crazy mountain roads that are barely wide enough for one car and maybe a Vespa but then throw into the mix two buses coming at each other from both directions! Now, that is living on the edge! Today, one of the buses went so close to the other bus I swear there couldn't have been more than an inch of clearance. I love how the buses talk to each other ...
