        We left the bright lights of Copenhagen with no charge for the bike rentals - fair enough as I had to do work on both of them!
        Within 30 minutes we were in Sweden. In some ways the Oresund Bridge from Denmark to Sweden wasn't as impressive as the bridge that got us from Odense to Copenhagen. Both are marvellous pieces of engineering.

        ... delicious food, drinking Swedish Snaps, working on puzzles, and watching the sun set. It was a lovely vacation and a very special midsummer celebration for us.

        Many new recipes from Sweden were added to our sabbatical recipe book and each one will bring back wonderful memories of times cooking, laughing and drinking wine together with our new Swedish family! We hope we can come back and celebrate another Swedish ...

        After being in the big city of Paris for two weeks, it feels wonderful to be surrounded by forests, lakes, and lush countryside. Bo and Helene have a lovely home surrounded by woods and we are looking forward to spending time here relaxing, enjoying their hot tub and sauna, meeting their family and friends, and taking day trips to nearby sites.

        ... houses warm... Don and I have had the loveliest time in the dining car where miniature bottles of Merlot and large bottles of Czech beer are sold at a very reasonable price. Again the service is amazing and the scenery and setting from another world...loving this train travel across Europe already. Even the toilets are better than any airplane toilet...that's another story! Awaiting our stop for Malmo soon. The whole of Sweden is just a revisit of the Ikea catalogue ...
