... true by walking across the bridge and holding our breaths at the same time.

While we were hoping for our wishes to come true, we made our way to the deaf school, La Inmacula where we met students from pre-school to 6th grade. There, we donated some school supplies, toys, and candies. While we were giving out things, it was a poignant moment for all of us. Meanwhile, we had a warm welcome from ...

... years now. Why is Belfast always the last route to escape from cattle class treatment? We were glad of the opportunity to have a shower in the lounge as our mains water supply at home was still frozen when we left - though Anne's sister has been able to confirm that at last it has now thawed. The flight to Rio was smooth and uneventful and the business class cabin was less than a third full. We arrived at close to 10:00pm Brazilian time (2h behind GMT) and were in our hotel ...

... trying their Tempura Battered Ice Cream, it too was very good.

A little further up the road from Edo's was the Cacao museum. We piled in their for a quick 3 minute brief of the making of their chocolate in order to get some free samples. Not only did we try dark, milk and white chocolate but we were also offered a Pisco based chocolate liqueur. After all the tasting, we went into their cafe for a big mug of very tasty hot chocolate.
