... mountain, here the landscape changed completely. It was mainly loose stones and one had to find the track through these stones. Rondane is a park that was formed during the last ice times and hence has a lot of mountains that have stones sliding down, and coming together in the valley. Somewhere near a nice river on a flat stone we had lunch and the daily selfie time.

... the shop is only open from 11am to 4 pm, and that is even an exception for the summer, because normally it is closed on these days.

So we prepared dinner in the house and went for a walk to find a place with internet to at least send the daily update. Well, to be short, Vaga has 1 place where you can have a drink after 6 and that is the local hotel. But as you can read it worked.

... along the route. It started all off very quiet (we left at 6.40 am) and there was hardly any traffic on the road. There weren’t hardly any people living in the area south of Mo I Rana either, just crossing woods. Once you get near to Trondheim, everything changes, traffic becomes denser, and a more fertile landscape with fields and farms and more people living there. ... took us up to the farm where my great grandmother Magnhild was born and showed us around the old house, which has been standing for hundreds of years. We had a nice little visit in Inge's house, a newer building done in the older style with plain, unpainted pine everywhere. The timber had been cutin their own woods above the house and milled in town and the house built by the family. All in all a pleasant day off from pedalling. Back at it ...

... a vintage car rally on, and it seemed that they were all gathering in Lom ready for the rally, so the campsite was quite interesting with a whole swag of vintage cars, bikes and trucks scattered throughout the camping ground.
