... sauce one (one = set of small pieces). It was delicious! I thought I would not like it, but lo and behold, pretty smooth taste and rather good. I also has some local white fish for dinner where they just gave me a well cooked huge hunk with bones and all. After clearing it out, it tasted quite good.

... was on our way back to skippy. It's one of Stockholms oldest attractions, being one of the world's best preserved medieval centres. Filled with narrow alleys and crocked houses, it really seemed a typical Europe setting. Found the narrowest alley in town, and listened in on a tour which was there finding out the history of it. Apparently it's where all the sea men use to pile through off the boats after being away for months, racing to get to the broffals and the bars ...

After a stunning sunset, we slept soundly overlooking the wee harbour at Ängskär. In the morning sunshine we were tempted to spend another day there, but the forecast was for rain - 'thunderstorms' the man who ran the aire/harbour/cafe/huts said. We breakfasted and showered. Then Alison fancied a real coffee in the cafe with a Danish (or should that be Swedish) pastry. Unfortunately mein host had no milk. ...
