... and organ and selection of wind instruments. He was really good. At the end of his gig he pulled out a fishing reel with a clog attached and stretched it out to the bank for donations. I walked for about half an hour until it looked like it was going to rain so I found a cafe to sit back and blog/people watch. I couldn't decide on a wine, or a spirit or a coffee. ... cab, we approached the Tram stop nearby to take the tram back. A very nice woman was helping me with getting on the right tram when an empty cab drove up. Steve and I got in the cab and were on our way back.

As we were driving back in the cab, it was quite apparent that something was happening in Amsterdam. There were military helicopters overhead, multiple SWAT Teams racing around the streets, police motorcycles appeared to be closing some roads, ...

Our luck ran out....

... to the Castle of Good Hope from the harbor area. We started out, stopping at the statues at Nobel Square and of course, as soon as we were away from any building, the heavens let loose. We got drenched as we trudged through sheets of rain and winds that kept threatening to turn our umbrellas inside out. I won't bore you with the rest, but we ended up hailing a cab.

... br> As we drive back to the lodge for our final breakfast we see Wildebeest which is our first sighting and many giraffes and a very large herd of buffalo.

After breakfast Vivian drives us to the airport in Kasane for our flight to Johannesburg where we have an 8 hour layover before getting on our flight to Amsterdam. In Amsterdam we have another 8 hour layover and then a flight to Toronto.

... so was a little cooler than back at home. I was feeling a little flat, so hoped for something to chew on and sip within a short wander, and just around from the playground was a little Poffetjieshuis.
