... While in the ice bar, we were offered beer (Heineken of course) or shots of vodka, Jaegermeister or something else (they lost me after Jag was mentioned!). We arrive in Amsterdam Central around 6pm....we're greeted by noise and traffic chaos. The Central Square is blighted by construction of a new subway connection. The locals aren't happy about it's been going on for a while apparently.
