Empuries was the furthest outpost of the Greek Empire and although it is not thought Hannnibal ever visited, legions of Romans used this spot as a disembarkation point for invasion. Greek and Roman ruins are evident. Whilst we were visiting, the exhibition in the local museum focussed on the sex lives of the Romans. Those racy Romans!
Checked out of our paris home and had a casual journey to gare de Lyon - till I realised the train went at 10.07 not 10.30! Luckily we just made the train! ... Roco Brothers that have one of the top restaurants in the World in Girona with 3 Michelin Stars called el celler de can roca and has a 1 year waiting list to get a reservation. I had a large cone with Vanilla and Chocolate Icecream with chocolate sauce, coloured stars and candy floss. It was really really really x100 good!
Then we headed home happy and full.

Then we went to the Museum del cinema, we saw how movies used to be made. We saw Batman's costume it was made out of really really heavy leather it would have been so hot and Edward Scissorhands - Scissorhand from the movie. Also Superman's original kryptinite.

... 60s but much cooler! I envy their free spirits but could not imagine the lifestyle they have set up for themselves. They suggested we stop at the alchemist at the bottom of the hill. We did not know what that meant but we went out of our way to visit him and have a cup of tea. He is most definately an artist and also collects crystals and various other stones. I wish there had been a way to send a piece of his art work home. Thats all for now until tomorrow ...
