We were woken at half 4 by rain and thunder so we brought Prego in. We dropped back off to sleep before being awoken again at 6ish by another storm. It's hard to believe it didn't actually soak the van, considering the noise! A lazy morning, after interrupted sleep, in cloud-enveloped mountainss, so a quick shower and cuppas before attempt number 2 at ...
... and shops! We stopped at the first restaurant, Maxamillian's and had a lush lunch before a wander. The shops (mainly skiing/hiking/biking gear) were mega pricey, clearly catering to the posh skiers in ski season and the snobby cyclists in summer who heard about this place from the posh skiers!! A lovely wander, quick stop at a chemist to get a different antihistamine to try to zap the prickly heat, then scouting out tomorrow's lunch ...
