... Chopin. The music was spellbinding in this beautiful setting. Upon returning to the ship the band was playing outside to greet us back on board and offering a glass of champagne. There was a live show in the Looking Glass with a dessert buffet filled with delectable choices. Perfect end to a wonderful day in Gdansk. Had to move the clocks forward one hour before bedtime. Tomorrow will be a leisure day at sea while sailing to Tallin, Estonia. ...

... the French restaurant on board tonight and then final stop, Bornholm, tomorrow. The French restaurant was once again great and this time I ticked another box, Escargot. Who would have thought a young bloke from Kogarah High eating this high brow stuff. Jerry and Sue with whom we have become friendly joined us but Sue's stay was short lived as a bit of sea sickness along with a fever kicked in. Time to let the gentle waves rock us to ...

... containers waiting for the ferry with fish painted of their sides. It must pay well too, because this place makes Iceland look like a bargain basement in prices for food. Just about everything except fuel that is. Here we are paying less that in iceland where diesel cost about $2.13 to $2.40 per litre and even less than we did in Denmark back in May where it was 8.69 DKK while here it is 8.05 DKK (5 Danish Krona = $1 AU). Seems odd to us to have cheaper fuel ...
