... Chopin. The music was spellbinding in this beautiful setting. Upon returning to the ship the band was playing outside to greet us back on board and offering a glass of champagne. There was a live show in the Looking Glass with a dessert buffet filled with delectable choices. Perfect end to a wonderful day in Gdansk. Had to move the clocks forward one hour before bedtime. ... We leave Warsaw on Friday and travel to a campsite in the rural area of Ostroda. It is a family run business with the campsite on a lake that permits swimming and boating. We enjoy a swim in the lake and a cheap, tasty, traditional Polish meal in the ‘homecooked’ restaurant on site. Highly recommended is the barszcz soup – cold beetroot with boiled egg. Sounds odd, but is very tasty.

Just about everything except fuel that is. Here we are paying less that in iceland where diesel cost about $2.13 to $2.40 per litre and even less than we did in Denmark back in May where it was 8.69 DKK while here it is 8.05 DKK (5 Danish Krona = $1 AU).
