    This morning we met at the Korcula dock at 5.45am to catch the ferry to Hvar Island. This is the island of the rich and famous. You should see the boats!!! I have never seen anything like it.     ... to the top lake. I lost count of the steps but I think there were more then 500 of them and I probably lost half a kilo of body weight in the process.     ... such good fun!) and then out for dinner and drinks that evening. Had a very early start the next day - 7am - and I may have had the world's worst hangover too, but I left Split and took a trip out to the Plitvice Lakes. This is a national park about 3 hours from Split but absolutely worth the drive and, it turns out, a good hangover cure. The lakes were the most translucent blue I've seen and were just beautiful - met two Americans (Laura and the other lady's name I have forgotten) ...
