... to the top lake. I lost count of the steps but I think there were more then 500 of them and I probably lost half a kilo of body weight in the process. Nevertheless it was a wonderful experience to see so much water flowing from everywhere. It would have been even nicer had it been a sunny day. Back to the car park, I was greeted by yet another shower of rain just for good ...

The old city of Dubrovnik is a fortified walled city with only one entrance to the water. A UNESCO world heritage site it contains an amazing variety of historical charm. ... water we swam back in and went exploring again. We went to the crab and put a sea snail down his hole to see if he would eat it. After about ten minutes we fished the sea snail shell out of the hole and looked to see if he ephod ate any. Surprisingly he had eaten some of the snail but half was left that he could not reach. We set out early in the morning - after coffee - but before brekkie - did the fish market directly across the street from us, and the area to the south west of the Palace.

Back for brekkie and then armed with our host's instructions we took the bus (number 12?) to Marjan Park and the beach there - Bene Beach. The ROCKIEST beach we have ever seen. NO SAND. But, indeed, BEAUTIFUL rocks :-) Walked along ...
