    ... and there is a great deal of renovation going on. I have been told, however, that there is an issue in getting workers for jobs such as building and retail. These are low paid, so these young workers are travelling to England, France, Sweden and America etc as they get more money over there!     ... they are few and far between. Still annoying however!!! Yesterday, we went to the Stone Museum in Mosedus. This was started by a geologist who carried his passion for stones to his own home. There are all sorts of stones, even some from under the sea, as well as statues and monuments all made of stone.     ... andI had the duck, while Alex had tuna and they were fantastic. Monday 21 July 2014 Today Evaldus was taking us to his parents home in Skoudas, but we stopped at a museum in Rumsiskes which had a display of houses, including all the implements, found in different districts of Lithuania over the years.     ... Friday they even started checking inside our wallets - presumably for drugs.

    The organizers get a little minus for the parking facilities, which were non-existent ("just park your can in some residential street.. hope that the residents don't mind"). Oh, and the fact that the coffee vendor in our "Tent City" packed up before we had gotten our Sunday coffee!

    Should we go again next year then?

    ... revolution so this building was converted. It was later used by the Soviet, German and the Latvian armies until 1997. The prison mainly housed minor offenders for 2-30 days in small cells of 40-50 people! The prisoners had to be busy at all times; learning discipline, marching, politics etc or cleaning the prison, they were not allowed any time to themselves.
