    ... line-height: normal;">So, we "just happened" to walk past another little restaurant that looked attractive and stayed for a lovely typical Italian meal of sea-food pasta in pesto and another dish similar but with a tomato base, and a nice bottle of local white plonk....and some lemonchello (sp?)... And a superb Italian short-black coffee "espresso"...

    ... have gone up in price! Vino and pizza for lunch, che sorpresa! I find I'm annoyed now when people speak English to me, I'm speaking Italian (or maybe not......) Mainland - Tuscany is only 30 mins or so away, €10 people, €50 car. I wonder if people commute? One ferry company have 100 trips to and fro per week starting at 515 am so I'm guessing so. Lots of bikes and apparently both biking and hiking are popular. Definitely a place for a holiday, ...

    Well, we have now been here 12 days and it has been absolutely divine.
    Lots of time to relax and just enjoy the ambience of this beautiful village. From the lovely Square which is made up of the local church Santa Chiara, a perfumery, fish shop , butcher, bakery, shoe shop (which we have frequented) pizzeria, and bars to the amazing promenade at the front of the marina.

    Since we arrived, Janet, the english lady who looks after the Villa for Jim & Claudia has been up most days and has given us some freshly caught Octopus and Swordfish as her two sons are local fisherman. It is so fresh you can really taste the difference. I have cooked the octopus twice and then cleaned it right down and then marinated it. It was delicious so I can now ...
