        ... The ferry trip was just glorious , passing through the Tuscan archipelago. Leaving Ronaldo down in the bowels of the ferry to chat with the semi-trailers, coaches and other cars ....we sat on the top deck in the breeze looking at all of the little passing islands glittering like green emeralds in the calm water.

        ... Poor sods have no idea what a beach is and what they are missing!!!! Gave up after an hour and walked back up the 60???? steps for rest and then another ordinary tea on the patio, but had the most amazing sun set. All over in ten minutes but just beautiful. Up early nest day to get taxi at 6:00 and catch the ferry. Steps again!! Worst, especially off the boat...steep, inside, where the cars were leaving from. Hated ...
