      Come to Como

We arrived in Como after a long drive from Bassano via Verona and the Hertz office to replace, yet again, the GPS. The Neverlost might be the case on the odd occasion that it works, but without it getting lost is actually quite simple. Anyway, we found the office and a very kind man who quickly replaced the unit and we were on our way. Verona had been recommended to us as a place to visit - not sure why. It is a flat industrial city with plenty ...

We arrived in this beautiful city at dusk so we weren't able to get the most out of it. Stayed there only for one hour and we spent that time in Parco Civico capturing the flickering lights of the city surrounded by mountains. The view from the shores of Lake Lugano was fascinating. It's truly a must-visit city and I'd love to go back and see it in broad daylight. ...

... at a restaurant in town and headed back to the hostel. Although we were in a 6 person room, it was only the two of us. However, it was very cold so we piled on the blankets and went to sleep.

The next day we decided to take a bus from Bergamo to Lovere, a small town in a valley in the Alps on Lake Iseo. The hour bus ride was very beautiful since we were traveling in the Alps. The town was very ...

      Long day to Bellagio

... round after lunch for the photos.

By this time it was 1530 hrs and we had to hoof it on the road to Bellagio. However, we had to stop at a little town called Brivio (mainly for a toilet stop) but ended up with a wander. Again, amazing scenery. I cantor;y say that it is hard to take a ****** shot inItaly.

By now it was 1630 hrs and we go on the road in a jiffy. I didn't want to drive too far in ...
