    Departure Day

And so another trip begins. It took not much time at all to cram bikes and gear into the car (well, at least to cram my stuff - the heavy lifting had already been done by the time Linda and Dave arrived at my place). Mind you, we did have to stop just outside Ottawa to secure the bike rack itself, which seemed in danger of falling off the car and taking my bike with it.

Nath tried to do some whitewater paddling on the Ottowa River but it didn't work out, unfortunately Canada is in the 'off season' again now so companies weren't open on the days we were there. Ignace Bourget, the second Bishop of the city. In 2002, the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada recognized the building as nationally ...

... us to have it one more time in Montreal as this where it originated from. We did and it was amazing. Very fattening but oooh so good. I had mine with pulled pork on top and Chris had his with chicken.

After lunch we walked past the famous Basilica du Notre Dame and took the subway to the International Jazz festival event which was the primary reason we had come to Montreal at this time. It was pretty busy with a good vibe but we were surprised there wasn’t ...

... Well, I was reading a book at the same time and was dipping one of the cookies into the tea, when a big plot twist in the book cause me to freeze my tea-sogged cookie between my open mouth and the tea cup. It fell on my sweater in a cookie sized goopy plop and left a rather large embarrassing stain.
Again, I believe only Leanne finds this funny.

We arrive in montreal and are walking through ...
