Sunday was departure day - after Ivor's train error I was more than a little concerned when we couldn't check in online as it didn't recognise our reservation number - had Ivor really booked flights? Thankfully he had and we left (after one last wagamamas at terminal 5!) on time.

... in luck because they had just built an outside deck next to the road that day and were placing tables on it when we arrived so we were actually the first customers to be served on it. The food was exceptional, the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and the service was very fast so I can see why it gets such high ratings from its customers. We had aranchini balls, calamari, gnocci, and a gourmet pizza.

I'll leave the pictures to do the talking about sights and sounds here. But it was a cool experience to be within Canada, but transported to a totally different culture. Architecture is cool, lots of churches and generally a great place to hang out. They even love to protest here! We saw two of them, but quickly left when the riot police ...
