The beer chased some of the virus bugs away and the atmosphere in the restaurant made it a pleasant night out. It was an absolutely beautiful clear blue windless day for our sojourn up to Jungfraujoch, the amazing weather research station and tourist attraction that features in several films including one of the James Bonds. ...

... really awesome because they pick you up and drop you back off in town after your jump. We are so excited; we can't believe we got so lucky with the weather. It's about a 20 minute drive out of town to the hangar where they suit you up, and the plane is waiting. We get there, they tell us the basics (head back, legs back like a banana. Arms in front, until they tap you on the shoulder then arms out). You jump at 13,000 feet with a 45 second free ...

Sue has always wanted to see Switzerland because as a child she just loved that story about Heidi, who lived with her grandfather, and she is delighted to see these things just as she hoped they would look like.

... been incredibly packed and my feet are definitely feeling all the walking but I still wouldn't trade this experience for anything.

Sadly, the one thing I was most looking forward to was cancelled so no fondue and yodelling for Dani. Or at least not tour planned. I'm sure I can find a place to do both back home sometime.

Tomorrow is our second day in Lucerne and a journey up a (hollowed out) mountain!

        Auf wiedersehen!
